I needed a person to do a complete remodel on a basement and laundry room and my friend suggested that I call job one a guy named bob so I took his advice cause he used him before and was very satisfied with his work and his prices are great ! I took his advice and I am so glad I did he was very friendly and was very knowledgeable explained everything and how the process would go ! the job took off and everything went great and in a timely fashion ! the quality of the workmanship was outstanding and they cleaned up after the end of each day ! I would highly recommend them .

Bob at Job One just completed a total remodel of our family room and we could not be happier. Bob IS Job One, along with his excellent helper, Bill - a totally professional outfit. Let me list some of the reasons for a 5 star review. 1. Communication with Bob was excellent. Never had to worry about an unreturned call or text. 2. They called ahead and always showed up when he said they would. That's a biggie. 3. Bob understood what we were going for and followed through 100%. He listened to us and made recommendations based on his years of experience, but he was sure to follow our vision (to be honest, my wife's vision). 4. Their workmanship is outstanding. Our big concern was we wanted to re-fashion the fireplace. Could not find a mantel to fit our needs. So Bob built it, right on the site. Great job. 5. His estimate and pricing structure were very reasonable, especially given that Bob does not cut corners. With his proposal he was clear on what is included and what expenses will be up to the customer. 6. Job One really looks out for the best interests of the customer as concerns materials, cost and workmanship.

This review is strictly based on my experiemce with getting an estimate and not on any work that was performed. I was pretty optimistic about Job One Home Improvement after reading the other reviews and after initially speaking with Bob. However, I was quickly disappointed by how Bob wasted my time by having me send pictures of the repair work only for him to never respond to his own request??? Although the needed repairs were small (install light fixtures, faucets etc. I was told that he could schedule my smaller repairs between some of his bigger jobs.) Not responding at all is very unprofessional.

If you are looking to do any home improvements Bob at Job One is the first person I would call. He was able to finish my basement at an extremely reasonable price. I have recommended him to my friends and family for their needs as well. I also got a beautiful set of kitchen cabinets and quartz counter tops from his supplier. Let me tell you it was half the cost of IKEA or any other bargain store cabinets and at a higher quality. The prices can't be touched. Professional timely work.

I needed awnings installed over two entrance ways. I also needed a storm door support replaced. Bob not only did a great job installing the awnings, he also picked one of them up for me when it was delivered to Menards. He replaced both springs on the storm door and added a much needed wind chain. He also repaired my outside light fixture. Bob is highly knowledgeable about all of the home issues I had. Bob was referred to me by a friend and I could not be more thankful for the referral! Bob was everything he was described to be and more! He was timely, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He was also able to explain technical aspects to me in a way I understood. He remodeled my basement for me and the best testament I can give is that when presented with my complicated (and more costly) design he suggested a better and less costly solution. In essence taking money out of his own pocket! As a homeowner I've come across many contractors and service vendors and have never felt that they were truly looking out for my best interest in the same way! I will definitely be calling him for other projects and referring him to everyone I know!
